Installation planning should account for the required rough in valve. The House of Rohl R45 thermostatic and pressure balance rough in valve must be ordered separately. The R45 valve supports a flow rate of 6.3 GPM or 24.9 LPM at 60 PSI, providing the specified flow capacity for the shower system.

The trim itself includes the cartridge and all necessary mounting hardware, giving installers the key components supplied with the trim. Because the rough in valve is purchased separately, it is important to include the R45 valve when planning the complete installation.
