Its flexible control configuration supports up to five functions, allowing three independent functions to operate with two running at the same time. This makes it suitable for shower designs that require multiple outlets and greater control over how they operate.

Flexible Five Function Control

The Authentica™ trim is designed around a multi-function shower setup. It supports up to five functions while allowing three independent functions to be controlled, with two functions capable of running simultaneously. This arrangement provides flexibility when planning a shower with multiple water outlets.

A key advantage is that the system does not require a separate shut-off or diverter valve. Removing the need for additional wall controls can help create a cleaner shower layout with less visible clutter. The configuration is particularly useful for shower installations where several functions need to be managed from a coordinated control point.

Temperature Memory

Set-and-forget temperature memory adds convenience to everyday shower use. Once a preferred temperature has been established, the temperature memory feature helps make repeated operation more straightforward.

The House of Rohl® R45 rough-in valve supports a flow rate of 6.3 GPM / 24.9 LPM at 60 PSI for an immersive shower experience. Because the R45 valve is sold separately, it should be included when planning the complete installation for the Authentica™ five-function trim.

Finish Options

The Authentica™ TAU45 is available in four finish options: Black, Brushed Nickel, Chrome, and Polished Nickel. These finishes provide flexibility when coordinating the shower control with the overall bathroom fixture selection.
