Three independent shower functions make the House of Rohl Authentica™ 1/2″ Therm & Pressure Balance Trim a practical choice for shower designs that require flexible outlet control. With no shared functionality between the three functions, each can be operated independently for a more tailored shower experience.

Independent Three Function Control

The Authentica™ trim supports three independent functions, giving users separate control over the connected shower functions. This arrangement is useful for shower layouts that incorporate multiple outlets and require each function to be operated individually.

Another practical feature is the integrated control arrangement. There is no need to plumb in a separate shut-off or diverter valve, helping reduce the amount of visible hardware on the shower wall. The result is a more streamlined control layout that can work well in carefully planned bathroom renovations and new shower installations.

Temperature Memory

Set-and-forget temperature memory adds convenience to everyday use. Once the desired temperature is established, the memory feature allows the control to retain that setting for subsequent operation.

For a frequently used shower, this can make temperature adjustment more straightforward. It complements the three-function configuration by combining independent outlet control with convenient temperature management in one trim.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass construction gives the Authentica™ trim a durable foundation while supporting its refined appearance. The material is well suited to a shower control that is intended for regular use, while its finish options allow the control to coordinate with the surrounding bathroom fixtures.

The cartridge is included with the trim, and all necessary mounting hardware is also supplied. The House of Rohl® R45 thermostatic and pressure balance rough-in valve must be ordered separately, so it should be included when planning the complete shower system.

R45 Rough-In Valve

The required House of Rohl® R45 rough-in valve supports a flow rate of 6.3 GPM / 24.9 LPM at 60 PSI for an immersive shower experience. Because the rough-in valve is sold separately, customers should account for this component when selecting the complete installation configuration.

The Authentica™ trim is also CEC compliant, adding a specified compliance feature to the product’s functional profile.

Finish Options

Four finish options are available for the TAU47: Black, Brushed Nickel, Chrome, and Polished Nickel. This selection provides flexibility for coordinating the shower control with the chosen bathroom fixture and hardware finishes.
