Shower Control & Function
The Authentica™ trim combines thermostatic and pressure balance control with set-and-forget temperature memory. Once your preferred temperature is established, the temperature memory helps make repeat showers more consistent and convenient. The control supports two independent functions, allowing the showerhead or handshower to operate independently rather than requiring both outlets to run together.
This two-function configuration can also simplify the wall design. Because the trim does not require a separate shut-off or diverter valve, the shower control can be arranged with less visible hardware on the wall. That streamlined approach is useful when planning a clean, uncluttered shower installation.
Solid Brass Construction
Solid brass construction gives the Authentica™ shower control a substantial material foundation while supporting long-lasting everyday performance. The construction also complements the refined appearance of the trim, making it suitable for modern bathroom renovations and carefully coordinated shower designs.
The trim is supplied with the cartridge and all necessary mounting hardware, helping provide the components needed for the trim installation. The required House of Rohl® R23 thermostatic and pressure balance rough-in valve is ordered separately, so the rough-in component can be selected as part of the overall shower installation.
