Vogt CP.01.06 Rectangular Lavatory Faucet Cover Plate

A cleanly finished sink area can make a noticeable difference in a bathroom renovation, particularly when an existing faucet opening is no longer needed. The Vogt Rectangular Lavatory Faucet Cover Plate CP.01.06 provides a practical way to conceal an unused or additional opening while maintaining a coordinated appearance around the lavatory faucet.

Its rectangular profile gives the cover plate a contemporary alternative to traditional round escutcheon designs. The structured shape works naturally with modern, minimalist, and transitional bathroom interiors, helping connect the faucet area with the vanity, sink, and other surrounding fixtures. By covering an opening that is not required for the selected faucet configuration, it helps prevent the unused space from interrupting the finished appearance of the countertop or sink area.

The CP.01.06 is particularly useful when a compatible sink or countertop has an opening that is no longer required. It can be considered during faucet replacements, bathroom renovations, and new vanity installations where the chosen faucet configuration leaves an opening unused. Before purchasing or installing the cover plate, the sink or countertop configuration and faucet installation requirements should be confirmed for compatibility.

Four finish options provide flexibility when coordinating the cover plate with existing bathroom fixtures and hardware. Chrome [CC] offers a bright, reflective appearance that can complement both traditional and contemporary settings. Brushed Nickel [BN] provides a softer finish for a more understated combination with bathroom hardware. Matte Black [MB] creates stronger visual contrast and suits modern interiors, while Brushed Gold [BG] introduces a warmer decorative element.

Each finish has its own product variant and SKU: Chrome is CP.01.06.CC, Matte Black is CP.01.06.MB, Brushed Nickel is CP.01.06.BN, and Brushed Gold is CP.01.06.BG. This makes it easier to select a finish that matches the lavatory faucet or coordinates with other elements such as cabinet hardware, towel bars, shower fixtures, and bathroom accessories.

The cover plate serves a focused finishing purpose rather than adding unnecessary complexity to the faucet installation. Its main function is to provide a more complete visual treatment where an opening is not being used, making it a useful accessory for residential bathrooms, powder rooms, guest suites, and renovation projects.

For a cohesive bathroom design, the selected finish can be matched directly with the faucet or used to complement other metallic finishes throughout the room. The rectangular form also offers a visually defined option for customers seeking an alternative to circular cover plates.

Vogt CP.01.06 is therefore suited to projects where an unused lavatory faucet opening needs to be concealed without disrupting the overall design. With its rectangular styling and four available finishes, it provides a straightforward finishing solution for compatible bathroom sink and countertop applications.
