Vogt Alland 16½″ x 16½″ Vessel Lavatory Sink Vitreous China BS.1616.A23-60

The Vogt Alland Vessel Lavatory Sink brings a defined geometric form to bathroom vanity spaces with its compact square profile and above-counter installation. Measuring 16½″ wide by 16½″ deep and 3⅜″ high, it provides a practical basin footprint while maintaining efficient use of countertop space. The proportions make it suitable for bathroom layouts where a distinctive vessel sink is desired without requiring an oversized surface.

Vitreous china construction gives the Alland sink a smooth, durable surface suited to regular bathroom use. The material is valued for its solid construction and polished appearance, while its non-porous surface supports convenient everyday cleaning. This combination makes the sink appropriate for residential bathrooms where maintaining a clean, well-kept basin is part of the daily routine.

Top-mount installation places the lavatory above the countertop, allowing the square basin to become a visible part of the vanity design. This configuration can create a stronger architectural presence than an integrated or undermount installation, while providing flexibility when coordinating the sink with the surrounding countertop and vanity. Before installation, countertop cutout requirements, faucet placement, drain compatibility, and available clearance should be confirmed with a qualified plumbing professional.

The Alland’s straightforward geometry works across a range of bathroom styles. Its clean square shape can complement contemporary interiors with simple cabinetry and streamlined fixtures, while its restrained form can also suit transitional spaces. The sink can be paired with a wall-mounted or countertop faucet, depending on the planned vanity configuration. Countertop materials such as custom stone can be used to establish a coordinated foundation around the vessel, while floating vanity designs can reinforce the open, modern character of the installation.

Fixture finishes can also be selected according to the overall bathroom scheme. The supplied product information indicates that the sink can be styled with brushed metal, polished chrome, matte black, or other fixture finishes, allowing the surrounding hardware to establish a personalized visual direction without changing the basin’s simple form.

Its compact dimensions make the Alland suitable for several residential applications, including primary bathrooms, guest bathrooms, ensuite spaces, powder rooms, renovations, and new construction projects. In smaller Canadian homes or bathrooms with limited vanity space, the square footprint can help provide a defined washing area while leaving the surrounding countertop visually balanced.
