House of Rohl Riu™ 1/2″ Pressure Balance Trim Variable Finish TRUTM51

Control over both water temperature and volume is handled through one straightforward mechanism with the House of Rohl Riu™ 1/2″ Pressure Balance Trim. Its solid brass construction provides a durable foundation for everyday bathroom use, while the choice of Brushed Nickel, Polished Nickel, or Chrome allows the trim to coordinate with different bathroom design styles.

The Riu™ pressure balance trim is intended for shower installations where a clean, uncomplicated control arrangement is preferred. It can operate a standalone showerhead or support a showerhead and tub spout combination when the tub spout includes an integrated diverter.

Simple Temperature and Volume Control

A single control mechanism manages temperature and volume, keeping the shower controls easy to operate without introducing unnecessary controls to the wall. This makes the trim a practical choice for bathroom renovations and new shower installations where straightforward functionality is important.

Installation and Valve Compatibility

The cartridge is included with the trim, and all necessary mounting hardware is provided. The pressure balance trim must be paired with the House of Rohl® R51 pressure balance rough-in valve, which is ordered separately.

The House of Rohl® R51 rough-in valve supports a flow rate of 5.8 GPM/21.9 LPM at 60 PSI. This specification provides the required valve context when planning the shower installation and selecting the appropriate rough-in component.

The Riu™ trim is also CEC compliant, adding an important specification for Canadian product selection and installation planning.
