Aquabrass TOSCA SR8234 Square Round Trim Set with 2-Way Shared Diverter for Thermostatic Valve

The Aquabrass TOSCA SR8234 brings a defined control arrangement to thermostatic shower installations requiring two shared shower functions. Its square round trim design combines solid brass construction with included handles and a 2-way shared diverter, creating a coordinated control interface for the shower area.

The TOSCA collection uses a combination of square and round forms, giving the trim a structured appearance while maintaining rounded control elements. This design can be coordinated with other bathroom fixtures and hardware through the collection’s available finish options.

2-Way Shared Diverter

A 2-way shared diverter is the main functional feature of the SR8234. It is intended to manage two shower functions through a shared diverter arrangement. This configuration can be useful when a shower installation requires control between two functions without using separate visible controls for each function.

The included handles complete the control assembly and provide the physical components used with the trim. Their inclusion also helps maintain a consistent appearance across the TOSCA control layout.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass construction provides the specified material for the SR8234 trim set. For a bathroom renovation or new shower project, this gives customers a clear material specification when selecting the visible control hardware for a thermostatic valve installation.

The supplied product information identifies several finish choices for this model, allowing the trim to be coordinated with the other fixtures and hardware in the bathroom.

Available Finishes

Aquabrass TOSCA SR8234 is available in the following finishes:

• Brushed Black Chrome
• Brushed Gold
• Black
• Brushed Nickel
• Polished Chrome
• Polished Gold
• Polished Nickel

The selection includes brushed, polished, dark, and metallic options. This range provides flexibility when coordinating the shower controls with the finish scheme used throughout the bathroom.

Valve and Diverter Components

The SR8234 is intended for use with the Aquabrass T12123 thermostatic valve, which is not included with the trim set. The Fluehs diverter cartridge is included, along with the handles.

Because the T12123 valve must be sourced separately, it should be accounted for when planning the complete installation. The SR8234 functions as the trim and control portion of the shower arrangement rather than a complete thermostatic valve package.

Practical Shower Application

For a new bathroom or renovation project, the two-way shared configuration provides a defined method for controlling two shower functions through the same control arrangement. The square round TOSCA design also allows the visible hardware to be coordinated with the selected finish and surrounding bathroom fixtures.
