Aquabrass Montebello Round Trim Set for 1 Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve R3149

Dedicated shut-off control is the focus of the Aquabrass Montebello Round Trim Set, providing the visible trim and handle required for a shower installation using a shut-off thermostatic valve. Model R3149 is constructed from solid brass and is intended to be used as part of a larger shower control arrangement rather than as a complete valve assembly.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass construction gives the Montebello trim set a clearly defined material specification for its role within the shower installation. The set is intended for applications where the visible control component needs to be specified separately from the valve itself.

This construction information helps identify the product when coordinating shower hardware and selecting components for a bathroom renovation or new installation. No additional performance, lifespan or finish claims are assigned beyond the supplied product information.

Round Trim with Included Handle

The round trim design provides a straightforward appearance around the shower control area. Its shape can be considered when coordinating a bathroom installation that uses round-form shower fixtures, while the included handle supplies the visible operating component for the shut-off thermostatic valve.

Keeping the trim and handle together as one set simplifies specification of the visible control hardware. The product is intended specifically for a dedicated shut-off control arrangement rather than an unspecified shower control application.

Valve Requirement

An independent diverter or shut-off valve is required for the R3149 trim set. The compatible valve identified for this configuration is the T12001, which is not included with the trim set and must be purchased separately.

This distinction is important when planning the complete shower installation. The R3149 should be treated as the trim and handle component, while the separately supplied T12001 provides the required valve component for the intended arrangement. Confirming the valve requirement before purchase helps ensure that all necessary components are accounted for during project planning.

Shower Installation Application

The Montebello Round Trim Set is intended for shower environments where a dedicated shut-off thermostatic valve forms part of the planned control layout. Its purpose is to provide the visible trim and operating handle associated with that valve arrangement.

For renovation projects, new bathroom construction or coordinated shower hardware selections, the R3149 can be specified alongside the required independent valve. Because the valve is not included, installation planning should account for the additional T12001 component.
