Aquabrass Forum Round Thermostatic Valve Trim Set C3042

The Aquabrass Forum C3042 round thermostatic valve trim set provides the visible control component for a planned shower installation. Made from solid brass and supplied with an included handle, it offers a coordinated solution for bathroom projects using a thermostatic valve. Its round profile gives the shower control area a clean, straightforward appearance while keeping the trim separate from the concealed valve and additional water-control components.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass forms the primary construction of the Forum trim set. This material provides a substantial foundation for the visible thermostatic control component and makes the trim suitable for bathroom renovation and new construction projects. The C3042 is intended for customers who need to specify the exposed trim independently from the valve assembly.

The solid brass construction also allows the trim to coordinate with other bathroom plumbing fixtures while maintaining a consistent material choice throughout the shower control area.

Round Trim and Included Handle

A round trim format defines the appearance of the C3042. The shape provides a simple, coordinated profile around the thermostatic control, making it suitable for shower layouts where a round control design is preferred.

An included handle completes the visible control portion of the set. Since the handle is supplied with the trim, it does not need to be specified separately as part of the trim package. Together, the trim and handle provide the visible elements associated with the thermostatic valve installation.

Compatible Thermostatic Valve

The Forum C3042 is intended for use with the Aquabrass T12000 thermostatic valve. The valve is not included with this trim set and must be selected separately when planning the complete shower installation.

Keeping the trim and valve as separate components allows the installation to be planned according to the required concealed and visible elements. Customers and installers should confirm the compatible valve and complete shower configuration before installation.

Additional Diverter or Shut-Off Requirement

An independent diverter or shut-off valve is also required for the intended shower arrangement. The C3042 therefore represents the visible thermostatic trim portion rather than a complete valve assembly or complete shower control system.

When preparing a renovation or new construction project, the trim, T12000 thermostatic valve, and required independent diverter or shut-off valve should be considered together. This helps ensure that all necessary components are accounted for before installation begins.
