Aquabrass Forum 4-Piece Deck Mount Tub Filler with Handshower and 2 Mixers 42018

A four-piece deck-mounted configuration makes the Aquabrass Forum Tub Filler 42018 a practical choice for bathtub installations requiring both a dedicated filling outlet and a handshower. The set brings the main components together in one coordinated arrangement, with separate controls for the tub spout and handshower.

Solid brass construction provides the foundation of the Forum tub filler. The material is suited to bathroom fixture applications where the faucet is used as part of a bathtub installation. Its deck mount format positions the faucet assembly directly at the tub deck, making the installation type an important consideration when planning the surrounding plumbing and bathtub layout.

Four-Piece Deck Mount Configuration

The four-piece arrangement includes the tub filler components needed for the specified setup, along with two mixers that provide separate control points. One progressive cartridge operates the spout, while another progressive cartridge controls the handshower.

Having separate cartridges for the two outlets allows the tub filling function and handshower function to be controlled independently. This configuration is useful for bathtub installations where both water delivery options are required without combining their controls into a single outlet.

Included Handshower and Hidden Hose

The Forum set includes a handshower equipped with a 5-foot double helix hidden hose. The five-foot length provides the specified reach for handheld use, while the hidden hose arrangement keeps the hose integrated within the tub filler configuration.

The handshower adds another practical bathing option alongside the main tub spout. It can be used when a handheld water outlet is preferred as part of the bathtub setup, while the deck-mounted arrangement maintains the components in a coordinated location.

Progressive Cartridge Controls

Progressive cartridges are specified for both the spout and handshower. Each outlet has its own cartridge, providing dedicated control for the corresponding water function.

This two-control arrangement helps distinguish the operation of the bathtub filler from the handshower. For installation planning, the separate controls should be considered as part of the overall four-piece deck-mounted configuration.

Water Flow and Plumbing Connections

The Aquabrass Forum 42018 is specified with crystal clear water flow. It uses both 1/2-inch and 3/8-inch female connections, which are important technical details to review when preparing the plumbing installation.

Installers should verify that the specified connection sizes correspond with the intended bathtub installation before completing the plumbing work. Confirming these requirements in advance helps ensure the fixture configuration is properly coordinated with the planned setup.
