Control over a multi function shower becomes simpler when the fixture can manage temperature and multiple water outlets from one coordinated control. The House of Rohl Authentica™ 1/2″ Therm & Pressure Balance Trim brings thermostatic and pressure balance functionality together with temperature memory and support for up to three shower functions.

Its configuration is particularly useful for installations that include both a showerhead and handshower. The control can operate either outlet independently or allow the showerhead and handshower to run at the same time, giving users more flexibility in how they use the shower.

Temperature and Function Control

The set it and forget it temperature memory feature is intended to retain the selected temperature setting, making routine shower use more straightforward. Thermostatic and pressure balance operation provides the control foundation for managing shower temperature and water delivery.

Supporting up to three functions also gives this trim greater flexibility when planning a multi outlet shower. Two independent functions can be operated separately, while the configuration also allows both functions to operate together. This makes the control suitable for shower designs where switching between a showerhead and handshower is part of the intended experience.

Another practical advantage is that the system does not require a separately plumbed shut off or diverter valve. Construction and Installation

The required House of Rohl® R23 thermostatic and pressure balance rough in valve is sold separately and must be ordered separately for installation. The R23 rough in valve supports a flow rate of 6.3 GPM or 24.9 LPM at 60 PSI, providing the capacity for a robust shower experience when paired with the appropriate system configuration.
