Solid brass construction provides the foundation for a durable fixture intended for regular bathroom use. The floor mount design also keeps the faucet arrangement separate from the tub deck and wall, making it suitable for freestanding soaking tubs, sculptural bathtubs, and other layouts where a floor mounted configuration is preferred. An included rough-in component supports installation planning and provides the foundation for securing the faucet.

The faucet uses a 1/2-inch female NPT connection for the plumbing connection. Inside the fixture, a ceramic disk cartridge supports smooth handle operation and water control, while a separate ceramic diverter cartridge manages the changeover between the tub spout and handheld shower. This arrangement provides convenient control for both filling the tub and directing water to the handheld outlet.

Flow rates are specified for both outlets. At 60 psi, the tub spout delivers 41 L/min, or 11 gpm, while the handheld outlet provides 6.6 L/min, or 1.7 gpm. These stated flow rates provide clear performance information when planning the faucet for a freestanding bathtub installation.

The Zehn collection offers several finish configurations to coordinate the tub filler with other bathroom fixtures and accessories. Single-tone choices include Chrome, Matte Black, Polished Nickel, and Brushed Gold. The complete floor mount tub filler includes the Zehn trim, model TM.Z1.2100, together with the VE.2100 rough-in component. This means the faucet is supplied as a complete system rather than as trim alone. The two component models can be identified separately when planning or documenting the installation.

For bathroom faucet applications, the BF.Z1.2100 is certified to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and ASSE 1016 standards. These certifications provide relevant specification information for bathroom projects requiring compliant fixture components.
