Vogt PU.401 Grid Drain with Overflow Bathroom Sink Drain

The Vogt PU.401 Grid Drain with Overflow provides a practical finishing component for bathroom sinks equipped with an overflow opening. Constructed from solid brass, it offers a substantial and durable foundation for everyday bathroom use while its structured grid design adds a clean, orderly detail around the sink drain. The combination of material and appearance makes it suitable for residential, renovation, new construction, and hospitality bathroom applications.

A grid-style drain offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional open drain appearance. Its structured surface contributes to a neat look at the sink while allowing water to move through the drain opening. The PU.401 is specifically intended for compatible bathroom sinks featuring an overflow, making it important to confirm the sink configuration before selecting this model for an installation.

Finish selection allows the drain to coordinate with a broad range of bathroom hardware. The PU.401 is available in Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black, Polished Nickel, Brushed Gold, and Gunmetal. Chrome provides a bright, reflective appearance that can complement both traditional and contemporary fixtures. Brushed Nickel offers a softer, understated visual effect, while Matte Black creates a pronounced contrast for modern, minimalist, industrial, or monochromatic bathrooms.

For bathrooms using warmer or more distinctive metallic details, Polished Nickel and Brushed Gold provide alternative finish choices. Gunmetal adds a deeper metallic tone for designs incorporating darker hardware. These finish options make it easier to coordinate the drain with faucets, sink hardware, shower components, and other bathroom accessories, helping maintain a consistent appearance throughout the space.

The solid brass construction also makes the PU.401 suitable for projects where durable bathroom components are an important consideration. Its straightforward design works well for vanity upgrades, complete bathroom renovations, custom installations, and replacement applications. When paired with compatible fixtures, the drain can provide a cohesive finishing detail without introducing unnecessary visual complexity.

Each finish has a corresponding documented product code for identification. Chrome is available as PU.401.CC, Matte Black as PU.401.MB, Brushed Nickel as PU.401.BN, Gunmetal as PU.401.GM, Polished Nickel as PU.401.PN, and Brushed Gold as PU.401.BG. Selecting the appropriate variant allows the finish to be matched with the surrounding bathroom design and hardware.

Before installation, confirm that the bathroom sink includes an overflow opening and that the drain is appropriate for the intended sink configuration. Installation should follow applicable plumbing requirements. This helps ensure the selected drain is suitable for the project before work begins.

For homeowners, designers, contractors, and renovators, the Vogt PU.401 offers a combination of solid brass construction, a grid-style profile, overflow compatibility, and multiple finish options. It is a practical choice for completing bathroom sink installations while supporting a coordinated appearance across the surrounding fixtures and accessories.
