The Riobel Equinox pressure-balance handshower system combines a 3-function handshower with a slide rail, flexible hose and wall supply outlet. The manufacturer kit includes the TEQ51N control trim and the matching R51-family rough-in. Select the available finish and connection for your installation.
Installation Planning
Plan the control, rail and wall outlet before closing the wall. Set the included rough-in to the actual finished-wall thickness with the template and guide supplied with the selected valve. Flush the water supplies and confirm the hot and cold connections before fitting the trim. Use the supplied component to confirm fixing centres, clearances and hose reach before drilling. The rail dimensions reproduce printed inch drawing callouts; they are not a drilling template or carton measurements. Some inch and metric pairs differ, so confirm actual dimensions for the installation rather than converting one column into the other. The linked pressure-balance guide covers several bath and shower arrangements; follow the instructions for the supplied handshower configuration and leave the template in place through the finished-wall work.

The linked 4835 handshower rail sheet lists the standard flow as 2.0 GPM (7.6 L/min) at 60 PSI. Its 1.8 GPM (6.8 L/min) WaterSense reference applies specifically to 4835-WS; it is not assigned to every kit option. Valve capacity is not the delivered handshower flow. Confirm the exact component version and its rating for the selected option.
