KODAEN F25133 EDISON Pull-out Dual Spray Kitchen Faucet

The Moment You Need More Reach

Every kitchen has that moment. You need to fill a pot that is too big for the sink. You need to rinse a baking sheet that does not fit under the spout. You need to wash vegetables sitting in a colander on the counter. A fixed faucet cannot help. You end up angling, tilting, and splashing water everywhere. The KODAEN EDISON solves this with a pull-out spray head that extends 30 inches. The reach changes what you can do at the sink. No more fighting the faucet. No more carrying heavy pots to the bathroom. No more awkward angles. Just pull the spray head out and point it where you need it.

This matters in busy kitchens in Mississauga and Brampton where cooking happens daily. It matters in condos in Toronto and Vancouver where the sink is the only workspace. The EDISON gives you the flexibility to use your sink the way you need to.

What the 360 Degree Swivel Adds to the Mix

The spout rotates a full 360 degrees. You can fill a pot on the left side of the sink. Rinse a colander on the right. Swing the spout completely out of the way when you need open space above the basin. The swivel moves smoothly without feeling loose. It stays where you position it.

Combined with the pull-out spray, the swivel gives you total control. The faucet adapts to your workflow instead of forcing you to work around it. This is the difference between a faucet that sits in your kitchen and one that works with you.

The Lead-Free Brass That Protects Your Family

The EDISON is made from solid lead-free brass. This is not a plastic body with a metal coating. It is real brass from the inside out. Brass resists corrosion from water exposure. It handles temperature changes without weakening. It maintains its structural integrity for decades.

But the lead-free part matters more. Older faucets sometimes contain lead in the brass alloy. Small amounts can leach into the water over time. The EDISON eliminates that concern entirely. The water that comes out of this faucet is safe for drinking, cooking, and filling baby bottles. For families in Ottawa and Halifax who care about water quality, this is a feature that matters.

The Sedal Ceramic Valve That Keeps Working

The handle on a cheap faucet wears out. It becomes stiff, then loose, then starts dripping. The EDISON uses a Sedal ceramic disc valve tested for 500,000 uses. At twenty uses per day, that is over 68 years of operation before the valve reaches its rated limit.

The ceramic discs are harder than almost anything that could scratch them. Water sediment cannot grind them down. Temperature changes cannot warp them. The handle operates smoothly from the first use to the last. No dripping, no leaking, no replacing cartridges every few years.

The 2.2 GPM Flow Rate That Delivers Real Pressure

The EDISON delivers 2.2 gallons per minute at 60 PSI. That is enough flow for filling pots quickly, rinsing dishes effectively, and blasting food residue off plates. The flow rate is higher than water-efficient models, which means more pressure for demanding kitchen tasks.

For homeowners in Calgary and Edmonton where hard water affects fixtures, the flow rate helps flush away mineral buildup. For kitchens in Winnipeg and Regina where winter cooking means heavy pots and baked-on food, the pressure makes cleanup easier. The EDISON delivers the power you need.

The Dual Spray That Switches Instantly

The pull-out spray head offers two modes. Stream for filling pots and rinsing dishes. Spray for washing vegetables and cleaning the sink. The toggle sits on the spray head where your thumb naturally rests. Switch between modes without changing your grip.

The spray head retracts smoothly when you release it. The hose extends 30 inches and returns without kinking. The dual-action design gives you the right water pattern for every task.

Where the EDISON Belongs

This faucet works in family kitchens, condo kitchens, and renovation projects. The pull-out spray adds flexibility. The 360 degree swivel adds convenience. The lead-free brass adds safety. The Sedal valve adds reliability. The 2.2 GPM flow rate adds power.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a pull-out and pull-down faucet?

A pull-out faucet has a spray head that extends outward from the spout, giving you reach beyond the sink. A pull-down faucet has a spray head that drops straight down from the spout. Both offer flexible reach. The pull-out design works well for filling pots on the counter and rinsing items beside the sink.

Is this faucet safe for drinking water?

Yes. The EDISON is made from solid lead-free brass. No lead means no leaching. The water from this faucet is safe for drinking, cooking, and filling baby bottles. The cUPC certification confirms compliance with safety standards.

Can I install this faucet myself?

Yes. The single-hole installation is straightforward. The mounting hardware and hot/cold waterlines are included. Most homeowners complete the installation in under an hour. A licensed plumber familiar with Canadian code can handle it if preferred.

What finishes are available for the EDISON?

The EDISON is available in polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, and brushed gold. Each finish uses a durable coating that resists corrosion and tarnishing. Choose the finish that matches your kitchen style.
