Bain Signature Flora 60 Fluted Glass Shower Enclosure Matte Chrome SD12-60FU-BLK

Product Overview

Fluted frosted glass gives the Bain Signature Flora 60 shower enclosure a distinctive appearance while providing a greater sense of privacy within the bathing area. Measuring 48 x 36 x 76 inches, this shower enclosure combines 6mm glass, bypass double sliding doors, a frameless aluminum door, and an SMC base for a practical bathroom configuration.

Frosted Glass and Privacy

The 6mm frosted glass creates a softly textured visual effect that reduces direct visibility through the enclosure. That makes it a useful choice for bathrooms where privacy is an important consideration. The fluted glass treatment also gives the shower area a defined architectural character without relying on decorative additions.

Bypass Double Sliding Doors

Two sliding glass doors operate in a bypass configuration, allowing one door to move past the other. This arrangement provides an efficient entry solution within the enclosure and avoids the swing path associated with hinged doors. The decorative rollers add a visible hardware detail while supporting the sliding door configuration.

For bathrooms where the available area benefits from a sliding entry, the Flora 60 offers a practical way to organize access without requiring clearance for a swinging door.

Frameless Aluminum Door and Finish

The door uses a frameless aluminum construction with a matte chrome finish. This approach keeps the enclosure visually open while the finish adds a clean metallic detail to the shower area. Decorative rollers further define the door hardware and complement the overall contemporary presentation.

SMC Base Construction

The base is made from SMC, or Sheet Molding Compound, a composite material consisting of resin, fiberglass, and filler. According to the supplied specifications, this construction creates a lightweight and durable product with an artificial stone look.

That combination gives the shower base a substantial visual character while keeping the material composition clearly defined. Its artificial stone appearance can work well with contemporary bathroom surfaces and fixtures.

Slip Resistant Surface

A slip resistant textured base provides added safety underfoot. The textured surface is especially relevant in a shower environment, where maintaining secure footing is an important everyday consideration. This feature adds a functional layer to the base while retaining its textured appearance.

Installation Hardware Included

The Flora 60 includes all necessary installation hardware, including stainless steel handles. Having the specified hardware supplied with the enclosure helps provide the components required for installation and keeps the door system consistent with its intended design.
