Bain Signature Leona 36X48 Shower Door SD2-3648-BLK

Product Overview

A coordinated shower enclosure becomes easier to specify when the door and base are supplied as part of the same product. The Bain Signature Leona 36X48 Shower Door includes a return panel and base, bringing the main enclosure components together in a format suited to contemporary bathroom installations. Its clear tempered glass and black silk screen pattern create a defined shower area while keeping the overall look clean and current.

Glass Door and Sliding Function

The Leona features a 6 mm (1/4 in.) clear tempered glass door with a sliding opening. Clear glass keeps the shower enclosure visually open, allowing the surrounding bathroom finishes to remain visible rather than being concealed behind an opaque surface. The sliding configuration also provides a practical way to access the shower area.

Reversible installation adds flexibility when planning the enclosure. The ability to reverse the installation allows the product to accommodate the intended bathroom layout without changing the specified model. This makes the Leona a useful consideration for renovation projects where the shower configuration needs to work with the existing space.

Low Threshold Acrylic Base

The included base features a 2.6 in. low threshold, offering a lower entry point than a taller shower base. An acrylic construction provides the defined foundation for the enclosure, while the central drain supports the intended drainage layout. A decorative drain cover is included, giving the base a more finished appearance at the drain location.

The base is supplied with the return panel and shower door, creating a more coordinated enclosure solution. For bathroom planning, having these elements together helps maintain consistency between the enclosure and its supporting base.

Frame and Visual Detail

An aluminum frame supports the shower door assembly and adds a clear structural element around the glass. The black silk screen pattern introduces a distinctive visual detail across the clear glass, giving the enclosure a defined contemporary character without changing the transparency of the door.

The combination of clear tempered glass, an aluminum frame, and the black pattern can work naturally with a range of modern bathroom finishes. It provides a straightforward way to establish the shower enclosure as a defined part of the room while retaining visual connection with the surrounding space.
