Aquabrass Montebello Round Trim Set for 2 Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve R3249

The Aquabrass Montebello R3249 provides the visible trim and handle required for a shower installation using a two shut-off thermostatic valve arrangement. With solid brass construction and a round design, this trim set offers a clearly defined control component for bathroom shower projects where separate shut-off or diverter functionality is required.

Solid Brass Construction

Built from solid brass, the Montebello trim set provides a durable material specification for a component that remains visible and is used during everyday shower operation. The solid brass construction also gives customers a clear understanding of the material used for this part of the shower control system.

As this product is supplied as a trim set rather than a complete valve assembly, it is important to consider the trim and valve as separate components when planning the installation.

Round Trim Design with Handle

The R3249 features a round trim format that provides a straightforward appearance around the shower control area. An operating handle is included with the trim set, supplying the visible control element associated with the valve arrangement.

This configuration is suited to shower projects where the design calls for dedicated shut-off or diverter control. The trim set can therefore be considered when planning a bathroom installation that uses separate control components rather than a single combined shower control.

Two Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve Control

Aquabrass identifies the R3249 specifically as a round trim set for a 2 shut-off thermostatic valve. Its intended application is therefore tied to shower systems requiring this type of valve control arrangement.

The corresponding T12002 valve is not included with the R3249. Customers planning a complete installation should account for the valve separately. The supplied product information also identifies the requirement for an independent diverter or shut-off valve, making it important to confirm the complete valve configuration before purchasing and installing the trim.

For Bathroom Shower Projects

The Montebello trim set can be used as part of a broader shower control specification in both renovation and new bathroom projects. Its solid brass construction, round trim design, and included handle define the main supplied components, while the separately purchased valve completes the underlying control arrangement.

For accurate project planning, customers should ensure that the required T12002 valve and independent diverter or shut-off valve are selected separately where applicable. This helps establish a complete installation based on the intended shower configuration.
