Aquabrass CHICANE Square Round Trim Set for 4 Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve SR3419

The Aquabrass CHICANE SR3419 provides the visible trim and handle for shower installations using a 4 shut-off thermostatic valve. Its square round design combines geometric forms to create a distinctive control detail, while solid brass construction supplies the specified material for the trim assembly. The set is intended to be incorporated into a larger shower control arrangement rather than used as a complete valve package.

Square Round CHICANE Design

A combination of square and round elements gives the CHICANE trim its defining appearance. This design offers a structured look for the shower control area and can be coordinated with the broader fixture and hardware selection in a bathroom.

The variable product type is available in several finishes, giving customers flexibility when specifying the visible trim for a renovation or new-build project. Available finishes include Polished Gold, Brushed Gold, Brushed Black Chrome, Polished Nickel, Black, Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome.

These finish choices allow the trim to be selected according to the overall fixture scheme of the installation. The appropriate finish can be chosen based on the desired bathroom design and the other hardware being used in the space.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass construction is a key specification of the SR3419. The material forms the foundation of the visible trim assembly and provides a clearly defined construction specification for shower control hardware.

The solid brass trim works with the CHICANE’s square round styling to create a focused control area without relying on excessive decorative detailing. An included handle completes the visible component supplied with the trim set.

4 Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve Application

The SR3419 is specified for use with a 4 shut-off thermostatic valve. This configuration is intended for shower layouts where four shut-off functions are part of the planned control arrangement.

The Aquabrass T12004 valve is identified for this product but is not included. An independent diverter or shut-off valve is also required. These components must therefore be considered separately when planning the complete shower installation.

Understanding this distinction is important when preparing a fixture specification. The CHICANE SR3419 supplies the visible trim and handle, while the required valve and independent diverter or shut-off valve are separate components.

Installation Planning

For renovation and new construction projects, the SR3419 should be evaluated alongside the complete shower control configuration. The required T12004 valve is purchased separately, so the valve and other necessary components should be included in the installation plan.

The trim set’s purpose is to provide the finished visible control component for the specified 4 shut-off thermostatic valve arrangement. Confirming the required valve and independent diverter or shut-off configuration before installation helps ensure the selected components correspond with the intended shower layout.
