Aquabrass FORUM Round 2-Way Non-Shared Diverter Valve Trim Set C1242

The Aquabrass FORUM C1242 is a round trim set intended for shower installations using a 2-way non-shared diverter valve. Its configuration allows water to be directed between two functions rather than operating both functions simultaneously. The round trim profile provides a clean appearance around the shower control area, while solid brass construction gives the assembly a substantial material specification.

2-Way Non-Shared Diverter Control

The defining feature of the FORUM C1242 is its 2-way non-shared configuration. This arrangement is intended for compatible shower systems where water needs to be directed between two separate functions. Instead of sharing water flow between functions at the same time, the diverter provides control for selecting between the connected outlets.

This makes the trim set appropriate for shower layouts that require dedicated two-function water direction control. The configuration should be considered alongside the appropriate valve and other shower components when planning a complete installation.

Solid Brass Construction

Solid brass construction forms the primary material specification of the visible trim set. This gives the FORUM C1242 a substantial construction suited to its role as a shower control component. The material specification also complements the simple round form of the trim, making it suitable for bathroom designs that use coordinated fixture details.

Included Handle and Fluehs Cartridge

The C1242 includes a handle as part of the trim set. The supplied handle provides the visible control element for the diverter and maintains a coordinated appearance with the round trim.

A Fluehs diverter cartridge is also included. The cartridge forms part of the specified diverter control configuration and is supplied with the trim set rather than requiring separate selection.

Multiple Finish Options

Aquabrass offers the FORUM C1242 in several finish options, allowing the visible shower control to be coordinated with other bathroom fixtures and hardware. Available finishes include Polished Gold, Brushed Gold, Brushed Black Chrome, Polished Nickel, Black, Brushed Nickel, and Polished Chrome.

The selection ranges from polished metallic finishes to darker options, providing flexibility when establishing a consistent finish scheme throughout the shower area.

Valve Sold Separately

The C1242 is a trim set rather than a complete valve assembly. The 61934 valve is not included and must therefore be considered separately when planning the installation. The included handle and Fluehs diverter cartridge are part of the supplied trim set.

The product is also identified as CalGreen compliant, making this specification relevant for projects where CalGreen requirements are part of the fixture selection criteria.
