Aquabrass Forum C0642 Round Trim for Shut-Off Valve with Handle and Fluehs Diverter Cartridge

The Aquabrass Forum C0642 is a round trim component intended for shower installations using a shut-off valve. It provides the visible control elements for an installation based around the separately purchased Aquabrass N1206 shut-off valve. With solid brass construction, an included handle, and a Fluehs diverter cartridge, the C0642 provides several components needed to coordinate the finished shower control assembly.

Solid brass construction gives the trim a substantial material base suited to bathroom plumbing applications. The material is used for the visible trim component, providing a sturdy foundation for shower control installations. The C0642 belongs to the Forum collection, making it suitable for projects where the shower control components are being coordinated within that collection.

The round trim profile provides the visible design element at the finished wall. Its simple circular form can be incorporated into shower layouts where round control detailing is preferred. No specific finish is provided in the supplied product information, so the C0642 should not be assigned a particular colour or finish.

An included handle provides the primary user interface for the trim. Once installed as part of the associated valve assembly, the handle serves as the control point for the shut-off valve. This makes the trim more than a decorative exterior component, as it contributes to the practical operation of the shower control arrangement.

The C0642 also includes a Fluehs diverter cartridge. This cartridge forms part of the supplied control assembly and is an important component when coordinating the trim with the intended shower plumbing configuration. Its inclusion means the package contains the specified cartridge in addition to the exterior trim and handle.

The N1206 shut-off valve is sold separately and is not included with the C0642. This distinction should be considered when planning a new bathroom installation or renovation. Customers assembling the complete shower control system will need to account for the separately purchased valve along with any other plumbing components required for the project.

The product specifications identify Aquabrass as the brand, Forum as the collection, and C0642 as the SKU. The product is described as a round trim for a shut-off valve, with solid brass construction, an included handle, and a Fluehs diverter cartridge. The supplied information does not specify a product finish.

For shower renovations and new bathroom construction, the C0642 can be used as part of a coordinated control arrangement where the trim and underlying valve are selected together. Planning these components as a complete system helps ensure that the visible control hardware and separately supplied N1206 shut-off valve are properly accounted for before installation.
