Aquabrass Forum C3242 2-Shut-Off Thermostatic Valve Round Trim Set, Variable Finish

The Aquabrass Forum C3242 is a round trim set intended for shower installations using a two-shut-off thermostatic valve arrangement. With its solid brass construction and included handle, it provides the visible control component needed for the associated thermostatic valve setup. The trim is part of the Forum collection and can be used in bathroom renovation or new construction projects where this type of shower control configuration is required.

The solid brass construction provides a durable material foundation for the exposed trim assembly. Its round profile creates a straightforward appearance around the thermostatic control area, making the visible hardware easy to coordinate with other bathroom fixtures. The included handle serves as the operating component for the associated valve, keeping the control area focused on the intended thermostatic function.

A key consideration with the C3242 is that the thermostatic valve itself is not included. This trim set is intended for use with the Aquabrass T12002 thermostatic valve, which must be selected separately. Planning the valve and trim together helps ensure that the required components are identified before installation begins.

The installation also requires an independent diverter or shut-off valve. As a result, the C3242 should be considered one component within a complete shower control arrangement rather than a complete valve assembly on its own. Customers and installers should account for the additional control component when specifying the system for a renovation or new bathroom project.

The round trim design offers a consistent visual treatment for the control area, while the included handle provides the necessary visible control element associated with the two-shut-off thermostatic valve application. Its Forum collection styling can also help maintain a coordinated appearance when selecting related Aquabrass components for the same bathroom.

For renovation work, the C3242 can be specified as part of a planned shower control layout where a two-shut-off thermostatic valve is required. For new construction, the same configuration can be incorporated during fixture planning, provided the T12002 valve and independent diverter or shut-off valve are accounted for separately.

Product specifications include the Aquabrass brand, Forum collection, C3242 SKU, solid brass construction, included handle, variable finish, and round trim format for a two-shut-off thermostatic valve. The T12002 valve is sold separately, and an independent diverter or shut-off valve is required. Confirming these components before installation helps establish a complete and properly planned shower control arrangement.
