Aquabrass MARMO Round 2 Shut-Off Thermostatic Trim Set RM02BC

Two separate shut-off functions make the Aquabrass MARMO RM02BC a practical trim solution for shower installations requiring more than one water control point. The round trim set provides the visible components for a two shut-off thermostatic arrangement, while its solid brass construction offers a substantial material choice for frequently handled bathroom hardware.

Solid Brass Construction

The RM02BC is constructed from solid brass, providing a durable material for the visible shower control components. Brass is widely used in bathroom fixture applications because of its substantial feel and suitability for hardware that is handled regularly.

For a bathroom renovation or new shower installation, the solid brass construction also provides a consistent material choice that can coordinate with other brass fixtures and controls. The round profile gives the control area a defined appearance while maintaining a straightforward design suitable for contemporary bathroom layouts.

Two Shut-Off Configuration

The primary function of the RM02BC is its two shut-off thermostatic configuration. This setup provides two separate water control functions, making the trim appropriate for shower layouts where more than one function needs individual control.

The trim serves as the visible control interface for the specified thermostatic valve arrangement. It should therefore be planned as part of the complete shower installation rather than treated as a complete shower system by itself. Understanding the required valve configuration before installation helps ensure the selected components are appropriate for the intended setup.

Handles Included

Handles are included with the RM02BC, supplying the physical control components associated with the trim set. Having the handles included simplifies product selection and provides the necessary visible controls for the assembly.

The round format also keeps the control area visually consistent. Its uncomplicated profile can suit contemporary bathrooms where coordinated fixture details are preferred without adding unnecessary visual elements.

T12002 Valve Required

The RM02BC is intended for use with the Aquabrass T12002 thermostatic valve. The valve is not included with this trim set and must be considered separately when planning the complete shower control installation.

The separation between the trim and concealed valve is important when specifying the system. The trim provides the visible control components, while the valve serves as the concealed component behind the finished shower wall. Selecting the required T12002 valve alongside the RM02BC allows both parts to be accounted for during project planning.
