Aquabrass Montebello Round 2-Way Shared Diverter Valve Trim Set R2249

The Aquabrass Montebello Round Trim Set R2249 is a dedicated shower control component for installations requiring a 2-way shared diverter arrangement. Its configuration allows two water functions to be managed through shared routing, making it suitable for shower systems where connected functions need coordinated control. The trim set is supplied separately from the compatible valve, allowing the visible control components and valve hardware to be considered independently during project planning.

A round Montebello design gives the control area a cohesive and organised appearance within the shower space. The set uses solid brass construction, providing a clearly specified material for the trim component. This material specification can be considered when selecting shower hardware for bathroom renovations, new construction, or fixture updates where the control configuration and construction details are important.

The defining feature of R2249 is its 2-way shared diverter. Unlike a non-shared configuration, shared routing allows the shower system to direct water between two connected functions through the appropriate diverter arrangement. This makes the trim set relevant to installations where two shower functions form part of the overall fixture layout and coordinated routing is required.

The supplied trim package includes handles and a Fluehs diverter cartridge. These components establish the control configuration and help clarify what is included with the product. Having the handles and specified cartridge supplied as part of the trim set provides a more clearly defined package when reviewing the components needed for a shower control installation.

The 61934 valve is not included with the R2249 trim set. This distinction should be considered when planning a complete shower system, as the trim and valve are separate components. Before purchase or installation, the appropriate valve arrangement should be confirmed for the intended bathroom project so the selected trim configuration corresponds with the required shower control setup.

The Montebello Round Trim Set is intended for shower applications where two water functions require shared control. Its focused configuration keeps the supplied components relevant to the specified diverter arrangement without adding unrelated hardware. For bathroom projects involving multiple shower functions, identifying the correct diverter type is an important part of coordinating the visible controls with the underlying valve system.

With its solid brass construction, round Montebello format, 2-way shared diverter configuration, included handles, and Fluehs diverter cartridge, Aquabrass R2249 provides clearly defined trim components for a coordinated shower control installation. The separate 61934 valve requirement should be accounted for when assembling the complete system.
