Aquabrass Montebello 2-Way Shared Diverter Round Trim Set for Thermostatic Valve R8249

The Aquabrass Montebello R8249 Round Trim Set provides a dedicated control arrangement for thermostatic shower installations using a 2-way shared diverter. Its configuration allows two water functions to be managed through shared routing, making it suitable for shower systems that require coordinated control of multiple outlets. The set focuses on the visible control components rather than supplying a complete shower system.

A key feature of the R8249 is its 2-way shared diverter configuration. Shared routing allows two shower functions to be controlled through the same diverter arrangement. This makes the product useful when planning a multi-function thermostatic shower where the water functions need to be organised through a defined control point. The two-way configuration also provides a clear reference when selecting compatible components for the overall installation.

The Montebello trim set uses solid brass construction, providing a clearly specified material for the trim components. This information is important when comparing shower controls and planning the visible hardware for a bathroom project. The supplied handles form part of the control arrangement, giving the installation the necessary physical controls associated with the trim set.

A Fluehs diverter cartridge is included with the R8249. The cartridge is specifically identified as a diverter cartridge, supporting the shared water-routing function of the set. Having the handles and diverter cartridge included helps define the components supplied with this particular SKU and provides useful information when preparing the required shower control components.

The R8249 should not be considered a complete thermostatic shower valve assembly. The T12123 valve is sold separately and is not included with this trim set. Customers planning a complete installation should account for the separate valve when determining which components are required. The trim set therefore serves as the control portion of a compatible thermostatic shower arrangement rather than replacing the required valve.

Aquabrass identifies the Montebello R8249 as CalGreen compliant. This specification can be useful for projects where CalGreen compliance is part of the product selection criteria. The product type is listed as variable, while the collection is Montebello.

For Canadian bathroom renovations and new construction projects, the R8249 offers a clearly defined 2-way shared control configuration for thermostatic shower applications. Its solid brass construction, included handles, and Fluehs diverter cartridge provide specified details for planning the finished control area. The separate T12123 valve requirement should be considered alongside the trim set when assembling the complete shower installation.
