KODAEN F44128 GRANI Touchless Dual Spray Kitchen Faucet

What if you could start and stop your kitchen faucet without touching it? No more spreading germs from raw meat to the handle. No more leaving fingerprints on a polished finish. No more struggling with a sticky handle when your hands are full of dishes.

The KODAEN F44128 GRANI touchless kitchen faucet makes this a reality. An infrared motion sensor detects your hand movement and activates water flow instantly. Wave once to start. Wave again to stop. The sensor works through a 6 to 10-inch detection range, giving you precise control without contact.

Hygiene First in Your Kitchen

The kitchen is the most bacteria-prone area in any Canadian home. Raw meat juices, unwashed vegetables, and food residues transfer germs to faucet handles with every use. Family members touch these handles multiple times daily, spreading contaminants.

Touchless technology eliminates this problem completely. Water flows only when your hand is detected. No cross-contamination. No spreading germs. This feature is especially valuable for households with young children, elderly family members, or anyone with compromised immunity.

Smart Technology That Works

The infrared motion sensor responds in just 0.5 seconds. Water starts immediately when you wave your hand. The sensor works reliably even in low light conditions. The detection range is adjustable between 6 and 10 inches, letting you customize sensitivity based on your kitchen setup.

Four AA batteries power the sensor system. Battery life typically extends for months with normal household use. A manual override lever is included for traditional operation when needed. This dual system ensures the faucet works even if batteries run low or in situations where sensor operation isn’t practical.

Professional-Grade Construction

KODAEN builds this faucet with solid lead-free brass. The material exceeds Canadian plumbing standards and is cUPC certified. Lead-free construction ensures your drinking water stays safe for your family.

The PVD-coated brushed nickel finish resists corrosion and maintains its appearance over years of use. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) creates a bond much harder than traditional plating. This finish is particularly valuable in Canadian kitchens with hard water, where mineral deposits can damage ordinary finishes.

The Sedal ceramic disc valve inside the faucet is tested for 500,000 cycles. This valve provides drip-free operation and smooth lever control. The ceramic components resist wear better than rubber or plastic seals, ensuring long-term reliability.

Dual Spray Versatility

The pull-down spray head offers two distinct spray modes. The aerated stream provides a clean, non-splashing flow for filling pots and glasses. The power wash mode delivers concentrated force for cleaning stubborn food residues from dishes and cookware.

The 30-inch stainless steel hose extends the spray head across your sink. The 360-degree swivel spout rotates fully, providing complete sink coverage. This range makes it easy to fill large pots, clean corner areas, and reach all sections of your sink.

Installation Made Simple

The GRANI faucet mounts in a single hole with 1-3/8 inch diameter. This standard size fits most Canadian kitchen sinks. All necessary mounting hardware and water supply lines are included. Standard 3/8-inch connections simplify the installation.

Clear step-by-step instructions guide you through the process. Most homeowners complete the installation in under an hour with basic tools. Professional installation is recommended for optimal performance if you are unsure about any step.

Why Canadian Homeowners Choose GRANI

Canadian households face unique challenges in the kitchen. Hard water in many municipalities can damage ordinary faucets. The PVD finish and ceramic valve resist mineral damage effectively.

The touchless feature is particularly valuable during cold and flu season when germs spread rapidly. The technology helps reduce the spread of illness within the household. The WaterSense certification ensures water efficiency, reducing utility bills over time.

What is a touchless kitchen faucet?
A touchless kitchen faucet uses an infrared motion sensor to detect hand movement. Water flows automatically when you wave your hand within the sensor’s detection range. Wave again to stop the water. No physical contact with the faucet handle is required.

How does the sensor work?
The infrared sensor emits a beam of light. When your hand enters the sensor’s detection range, the light reflects back. The sensor detects this reflection and activates the water flow. The sensor works reliably in various lighting conditions.

What is the sensor range?
The detection range is adjustable between 6 and 10 inches. This range allows you to position your hand comfortably while preventing accidental activation from movements beyond the sink area.

What powers the touchless system?
Four AA batteries power the sensor system. Battery life varies based on usage but typically lasts several months with normal household use. The manual override lever provides traditional operation if needed.

Is this faucet certified for Canadian plumbing standards?
Yes. The faucet is cUPC certified, meeting ASME A112.18.1 and CSA B125.1 standards for Canadian residential plumbing.

What is the flow rate?
The faucet delivers 2.0 GPM at 60 PSI. This flow rate meets WaterSense certification standards for water efficiency while providing satisfying performance.

What spray modes are available?
The dual spray head offers aerated stream and power wash modes. The aerated stream provides clean, splash-free flow. The power wash delivers concentrated force for tough cleaning tasks.

What is the warranty?
KODAEN offers a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects. Contact customer service for specific warranty details.
