KODAEN TBS114 ELEGANTE Bathroom Hardware Sets-Towel Bar

The Hardware That Holds Up Your Daily Routine

A towel bar is not a decorative afterthought. It is the fixture you reach for every morning and every night. If it wobbles, rusts, or does not hold enough towels, the whole bathroom feels disorganized. The KODAEN ELEGANTE double towel bar addresses those problems directly. Two bars provide space for multiple towels without taking up extra wall space. SUS 304 stainless steel construction ensures the fixture stays solid and corrosion-free for years. The PVD coating protects the finish from scratches, chips, and daily wear.

Why Two Bars Matter More Than You Think

A single towel bar holds one towel. That works for a guest bathroom or a powder room where towels are decorative. In a family bathroom, one bar is not enough. You need space for bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. The double bar design gives you two levels of storage in the same footprint as a single bar.

The top bar holds bath towels. The bottom bar holds hand towels or washcloths. Wet towels dry faster because they are not bunched together on one bar. The open design allows air to circulate around each towel, reducing musty odors and keeping towels fresher between washes.

SUS 304 Stainless Steel That Resists Humidity

Bathrooms are wet environments. Steam fills the air. Water splashes from the sink and shower. Cheap hardware made from zinc alloy or plated plastic starts rusting within months. The ELEGANTE double towel bar uses SUS 304 stainless steel, the same grade used in commercial kitchens and food processing facilities.

This steel contains chromium and nickel that form a protective oxide layer on the surface. That layer resists corrosion even in constant humidity. The PVD coating adds another level of protection. PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition, a process that bonds the finish to the steel at the molecular level. The result is a surface that does not peel, flake, or wear off like traditional electroplating.

Five Finishes That Match Different Design Styles

Polished chrome reflects light and works in traditional and modern bathrooms alike. It is bright, easy to clean, and coordinates with standard chrome fixtures. Brushed nickel offers a warmer tone that hides water spots and fingerprints better than chrome. It pairs well with neutral color palettes and soft design themes.

Matte black makes a bold statement against light tile and white walls. It works especially well in modern and industrial-style bathrooms. Brushed gold adds warmth and a touch of luxury. It pairs beautifully with warm wood vanities and cream-colored tile. Graphite black offers a slightly softer alternative to matte black with a subtle sheen.

All five finishes use the same PVD coating process. The color is not painted on. It is bonded to the steel at the molecular level. This means the finish will not chip, scratch, or fade over time.

Wall Mounted Design That Keeps Counters Clear

Countertop accessories collect water spots, soap scum, and toothpaste splatter. They take up space that could be used for getting ready. The ELEGANTE double towel bar mounts to the wall, keeping every surface clear and easy to wipe down.

The wall-mounted design also makes the bathroom feel larger. Without clutter on the counter, the eye moves freely across the space. This matters most in smaller bathrooms where every inch counts. The clean lines of the hardware add visual order without making the room feel busy.

What Installation Involves

The double towel bar mounts to the wall with the included hardware. The mounting brackets attach first, then the bar slides over the brackets and secures with a set screw. A level and a drill are the only tools needed. Most homeowners can install the fixture in under fifteen minutes.

The mounting hardware includes screws and wall anchors for drywall, tile, and plaster. If you are mounting into solid stone or concrete, use appropriate masonry anchors instead. The bar should be installed at a height that is comfortable for all users. Standard towel bar height is 48 inches from the floor, but adjust based on your specific needs.

Where the ELEGANTE Double Towel Bar Works Best

This fixture works in a master ensuite, a main bathroom, a powder room, or a guest bathroom. The double bar design is especially useful in family bathrooms where multiple towels need space. It also works well in smaller bathrooms where a single bar is not enough but there is no room for two separate bars.

For a complete bathroom update, pair this towel bar with other pieces from the ELEGANTE collection. Matching toilet paper holders, robe hooks, and single towel bars create a coordinated look throughout the room. Browse our bathroom accessories category for compatible pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between PVD coating and regular plating?

Regular plating applies a thin layer of finish material to the surface. It can peel, chip, or wear off over time. PVD coating bonds the finish to the metal at the molecular level. The result is far more durable and resistant to scratching, fading, and corrosion.

Will this towel bar match my existing fixtures?

The five finish options cover the most common bathroom fixture finishes. Polished chrome matches standard chrome fixtures. Brushed nickel matches brushed nickel fixtures. Matte black matches black fixtures. Brushed gold matches gold or brass fixtures. Graphite black works as a softer alternative to pure black.

Can I install this towel bar myself?

Yes. The mounting hardware is included, and the installation process is straightforward. A level and a drill are the only tools needed. Most homeowners can complete the installation in under fifteen minutes.

How much weight can this towel bar hold?

The SUS 304 stainless steel construction and wall-mounted design support the weight of multiple wet towels. The bar is designed for daily use in a family bathroom. The mounting anchors provide secure hold in drywall, tile, and plaster.

How the ELEGANTE Compares to Other Towel Bars

Basic towel bars use zinc alloy or plastic components that corrode over time. The finish flakes off, the bar wobbles, and the fixture looks worn within a year. The ELEGANTE uses solid stainless steel and PVD coating that maintain their appearance for years.
